Produced at Glengyle Distillery
Kilkerran Single Malt is produced at the historic Campbeltown distillery, Glengyle, originally founded by the Mitchell family and owned by the J&A Mitchell group since its re-build and resumption of production in 2004.
We pride ourselves on completing all parts of the whisky production process here on site, from the traditional floor maltings conducted at our sister distillery, Springbank, to the bottling of every edition at our bottling hall here in Campbeltown. Sharing a production team and calendar with the neighbouring Springbank Distillery, Glengyle has a short production period of around three months per year, typically operational from October – December.

Visit Us
Tours of Glengyle Distillery and Kilkerran Warehouse Tastings are available throughout the year, including outwith the distillery’s production period.
Whether you are heading straight to Campbeltown, or are on a whisky pilgrimage elsewhere in Scotland, our town is fairly accessible and every year we welcome many visitors to experience Kilkerran in its home, whether that be tasting our whiskies from the cask or seeing where and how we produce our single malt.
Our Whisky Range
During our production year, time is split between producing our standard Kilkerran Single Malt and creating distinct editions by altering the distillation process and level of peat in the malt. The result of this is our current Kilkerran range, consisting of a combination of core range products and limited editions.
